Women of God is a group of five borrowers led by Eva Massalay, a single 20-year-old woman who has thus far achieved an 11th grade education. She lives with her parents in Virginia, a newly built community for poor people who can't afford to buy town lots north of the capital, Monrovia, Liberia.

Eva's business is selling foodstuffs such as onion, pepper, milk, salt, garden eggs, etc. She buys them wholesale and retails them in the Dualla market, north of the capital, Monrovia, Liberia. In business for two years now, she hopes to develop the enterprise to the point where she can eventually open a shop.

Because Eva depends on her business to pay for her school fees and her daily needs, she places a premium on developing and maintaining a good relationship with her customers to encourage them to continue buying from her. Payment of her school fees reduces her business capital and savings, so she needs this loan in order to purchase more foodstuffs in order to improve business.

Eva dreams of improving her living standard and continuing her education to the highest level.
