Eom N., 59, is married and resides in Battambong Province with his wife (pictured) and a child. To make a living, He manufactures rice wine and raises pigs for their offspring at home, earning an income of US $3 per day. His wife travels through the town and villages in the province to collect and purchase recyclable materials for resale, earning an income of US $3 per day to cover the family expenses. This couple is seeking to improve their standard of living by working hard every day. Therefore, N. is asking for a loan of US $1000 to purchase a motorbike to transport the rice wine product and recycle materials to sell. By doing so, N. hopes that she will be able to cut back on public transportation expenses and save the extra income for the future household use.
