Vis C. is married with 2 young children. She lives with husband (pictured) in Battambong Province. She is involved in a business of selling groceries near a local school, earning approximately an income of US $3 per day. To make living, her husband operates his motor taxi everywhere in the town, earning an income of US $5 per day as a primary source of income for the family. This young couple is seeking to improve the standard of living by starting another business because Chhorvion’s current business does not allow her to generate enough income to make a good living and for the future education of their children. Therefore, she is asking for a loan of US $1000 to purchase a motorbike attached with a cart to stock meatballs that are ready to be fried for sale.
