Helena is fifty-five years old. She is married and has given birth to eight children, all of whom are in school. She lives with her husband and children in a rented apartment in a town called Dormaa in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. Dormaa is a commercial and farming town.
Helena is a trader. She prepares and sells palm oil. She supplies to retailers and also treks to nearby communities to sell. She has been in business for four years and wants a loan to buy palm nuts in bulk.
