Chhen R., 42, is a wedding chef who lives in the Siem Reap province with her husband and four of her children. She typically makes about US$2 each day, while her husband is a farmer who typically makes about US$1 each day and is supported by their son working as a mechanic. The weather conditions have been difficult for farming in Cambodia this past year and inflation has also been out of control. Chhen R. is asking for a loan of US$500 to purchase a motorbike for family transportation. (Chhen and her husband were not available so their son is pictured instead)
