Karn R., 35, is married and resides with her husband and two young children in the Takeo province. Since 2008, she has been making rice wine and breeding pigs to earn a living and is able to make about US$2.5 each day, while her husband is a carpenter who is able to make US$4 per day. Karn R. is asking for a loan of US$800 to purchase rice she needs to make rice wine.
