Elena

Elena is 49 years old, and lives with her husband in her own house. She has a carpenter’s workshop where she builds all types of furniture and handles for agricultural work tools, such as picks and shovels. There was a time when the sale of these handles declined, and she took this opportunity to begin designing and building inexpensive furniture that was also durable; this furniture is now in high demand by her clients, who are the furniture merchants of her locality in the capital city of Lima. In the future, Elena would like for her business to continue growing, and to set up a workshop with better tools and equipment.

This is the second opportunity she has had to get a loan through MFP; she is a person that promotes unity in her Communal Bank and because of her good character she is highly valued by her group. The money that she is requesting will be used to work on her workshop by installing industrial electricity, that is to say, three-phased electric power.

Elena tiene 49 años, vive con su esposo en su casa propia. Ella tiene una carpintería donde realiza todo tipo de muebles y mangos para herramientas de trabajo para los agricultores, como los picos y las palas. Hubo una época en que la venta de estos mangos decreció y esa fue la oportunidad para que empezara con el diseño y fabricación de muebles económicos y a la vez durables, los cuales son muy demandados por sus clientes, quienes son especialmente los comerciantes de muebles de su localidad y de la ciudad capital, Lima. Para el futuro, Elena desea crecer más en su negocio e implementar su taller con mejores equipos e instrumentos.
Esta es la segunda oportunidad en que tiene un crédito con MFP, ella es una persona que promueve la unidad en su banco comunal y por su buen carácter es muy apreciada en su grupo. El dinero que ahora solicita lo usará en la implementación de su taller, instalando electricidad industrial, es decir la trifásica.
