N’ayant pas fréquenté le système scolaire, très vite il commença les activités économiques telles les travaux journaliers auprès des maçons, les travaux champêtres et le berger.
Vu l’âge avançant, il songe à avoir une activité stable et pérenne. Ainsi il décida de mener l’activité d’achat et de vente d’articles divers de boutique, qu’il appris auprès de son grand frère. Avec une expérience de 5 ans, Monsieur Souleymane S. maîtrise bien son activité qu’il pilote allègrement.
Après avoir correctement remboursé le prêt précédent, il est à son deuxième prêt individuel qu’il compte utiliser pour acheter d’importantes articles divers pour sa boutique afin d’attirer, de satisfaire et de maintenir la clientèle.
Il s’approvisionne à Bamako (capitale de la république du Mali) et vend en détail, au comptant et à crédit à une clientèle composée de toute la population locale.
