Comfort is fifty–two years old. She is divorced and has given birth to four school-age children. She lives with her children in a rented apartment in a town called Dormaa in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. Dormaa is a commercial and farming town. Comfort is a trader. She trades in plantains. She buys from nearby towns and supplies to food vendors and retailers in her community. Comfort also treks to nearby communities to sell. She has been in business for over twenty–five years and wants a loan to buy goods in bulk.
