Being a single parent is not easy because you have to be both mother and father to your child. But this is what Geralyn C. does. She is a 29-year-old single mother with an 11-year-old child, and they live in the village of Brgy, Canroma, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental. This turned out to be a good partnership. NWTF-PD lends her capital which she pays back on time, and she has become an active member of her group and its center. She earns an average of PHP 6,000 monthly from her hard work and industriousness.

For her previous loan, which was her sixth, Geralyn borrowed PHP 19,500. The loan increased her revenue and her profits. She is applying for a new loan for the same amount to buy additional inventory and as a source of working capital.

She is proud of her achievements, both in business and as a single parent, and knows that she will continue to have the trust and confidence that NWTF-PD by continuing her good credit rating.
