Jecinta
Jecinta is a small-scale farmer in Naivasha who plants potatoes on her small piece of land and sells them outside the door of her house to passers-by and her neighbors. She is a single mother of one child who attends schools.

She was introduced to KADET by her friend. This will be her first loan. She plans to buy more potato seedlings to plant on her small farm and sell them later for a profit.

In the future, she plans to nurture her desire for farming by buying a bigger piece of land and plantting more potatoes. She also hopes that the farming business will pick up more and she will be selling her potatoes in large quantities and in other markets.
