Sao P., 41, is married with three children and resides in Kompong Cham Province. The source of income is generated primarily from her husband whose business is purchasing cows from the local farmers in his villages and other nearby places in the province to resell in the town. He is able to earn an income of US $ 10 per day. The family is also assisted by one of the children who is currently employed in a local garment factory with a reasonable income to earn the living and to support the family. P.’s standard of living has been improved since her husband starts this business; therefore, she is asking for a loan of US $1000 to purchase more cows for her husband to expand and improve his business.
