El Progreso De Tumarapi Group's story

The “El Progreso de Tumarapi” communal bank is starting their fifth loan cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Copacabana branch office. It is made up of eight members, led by a board of directors with Susana as President.

The loan they are taking out will benefit all these micro-entrepreneurs, Susana being one of them. She currently has a business selling sheep. She said she learned the business on her own a number of years ago.

The loan she is now taking out will increase her capital buying sheep that she will acquire from the wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz. Then she will raise them which is her means of production. This method of working allows her to generate resources to support her family economically as she is married and has three children.

In this group: Susana , Rosa Gabriela, Flavia Escila, Ayda , Rosmery, Justina, Cristobal , Pablo
