Kupfuma Ishungu Group's story

Chipo sells metal products like pots, dishes and small tins. She started the trade before she was married. Since the days she was selling for her mother, she now has 25 years in the same business. Chipo is 44 years old and married to a motor mechanic who has been a pillar of strength in supporting her business ventures. She has eight children. Two of her children are still school-going age.

Chipo worked well with Thrive and together with her group members they are now getting another loan. The group members have shown good improvement from the previous loan. From the previous loan of $400, Chipo managed to make savings out of her business and bought a very nice glass stand for her television. Currently, she got a loan of $600 which she used to restock more metal products.
