Precious is a 31-year-old hard working woman who is dedicated to expanding her business.

Precious is a member of the “Mpumelelo” group. The group is based in Chitungwiza and is comprised of four hardworking women. The name itself is a Ndebele word which means success.

Precious started her tuck shop business around two years ago. Her husband is a self-employed mechanic. Precious has managed over the years through her hard work to assist in supporting her two children.

Precious believes continuous hard work and commitment can yield positive results towards her business’ expansion and is very optimistic of opening as a wholesaler in the future. Her daily routine involves cleaning and shelf-filling as well as securing orders and the storekeeping roles she performs at her tuck shop.
