Morm S. is married with two children. She lives with her husband in Kompong Chnang Province. To make a living, she is engaged in a business of selling groceries, typically earning US $3 per day. Her husband operates his motor taxi in the town and other nearby local markets, earning an income of US $2 of net profit per day. Both of them have to work hard everyday to ensure a good living for the family and the children. Therefore, S. is seeking to increase her income and improve her business. She is asking for a loan of US $1000 to purchase various kinds of groceries and soft drink to expand her current business. By doing so, she believes that she will be able to raise a good standard of living for her family.
