Mrs. Ry P. is a 36-year-old housewife who takes care of her husband and 6 children in Siem Reap. Her husband works as a construction foreman and earns about $5/day in this business. Her six children are still students, although some of them work selling souvenirs around Angkor Wat after school. Currently, Mrs. Ry P. pays motorbike taxis to take her husband and children to and from work and school. She will use this loan to purchase a motorbike so she can take them each day, saving the family money in the long term.
