Helen E., age 39, lives on a farm with her husband and their 10-year-old adopted child. To finance their farm, they had borrowed money from financing groups that charge a high interest rate.
Helen is thankful that CEV accommodates farmers, because they really need the money to support their farm. When she became a member, she stopped borrowing from other individuals and financing groups.
She has requested a loan of Php 10,000 to be used for farm inputs. Helen hopes she can save extra money for her child’s future with the low interest offered by CEV.
