The group “Alegría” (Joy) is led by Sra. Hilda and consists of 18 dynamic members who wish to participate in activities that will bring them closer as a group. The women of the group have been friends for a long time and know each other through their business activities and because they live in the same neighborhood. Most of the members have various retail and service businesses such as beauty salons, grocery stores, food establishments, and cosmetic sales. We can mention that one member is a mechanic, while another one provides cleaning services. Most of the members have their own locations while others travel door-to-door. It should be mentioned that the members are experienced and know how to cope in a competitive environment.


This loan will be used to buy merchandise to stock their stores, acquire supplies at wholesale, and obtain discounted cosmetics through promotional offers so that the members can take advantage of lower costs. Their expectations for the future are to have larger stores so that they can generate more revenues and be more financially independent. Regarding their previous credit experience, they have worked with solidarity group loans at other financial institutions. They are participating in their first loan cycle with Fundación Agrocapital and have high expectations to continue growing.

El grupo “Alegría” esta representado por la señora Hilda y conformado por 18 miembros las cuales son socias dinámicas puesto que desean realizar actividades para confraternizar y unirse mas como grupo; las señoras tienen una amistad desde hace mucho tiempo ya que se conocen de sus actividades comerciales y son vecinas del barrio. En general las socias desempeñan diferentes tipos de actividades comerciales y de servicio como: salón de belleza, tienda de abarrotes, venta de comida y venta de cosméticos y en cuanto los socios podemos mencionar un mecánico y otro presta servicios de limpieza una mayoría de sus actividades están en sus propios domicilios y otros son ambulantes. Dentro del entorno competitivo podemos mencionar que las socias son personas con experiencia y saben como salir adelante con su trabajo y empeño. El crédito esta destinado a la compra de mercadería para surtir sus tiendas, compra de material de trabajo, insumos en mayor cantidad, las promotoras de cosméticos aprovecharon las ofertas para la adquisición de mercadería abajo precio. Dentro de sus expectativas están el tener tiendas mas grandes para poder genera mas ingresos y ser mas independientes económicamente, en cuanto a sus experiencias crediticias algunas solicitaron crédito anteriormente con otras entidades financieras por lo que cuentan con experiencia en grupos solidarios, en cuanto a a la experiencia en Agrocapital van cursando su primer ciclo con grandes expectativas de crecimiento.
