Lourinda Jamsuri

Lourinda is 51 years old and she is married to Piting and blessed with three children: Rhadzimir – 16 years old, a college student; Fatima – 13 years old, a high school student and the youngest is Shariffa Marian – 10 years old, who is currently enrolled in elementary school.
Lourinda and her husband started their junk shop business after they got married wherein they use their small savings as business capital. They are helping one another in maintaining their small business. She is now asking for a loan of PHP20,000 from the KIVA lenders that they will use for the growth of their junk shop in purchasing recyclable materials. They buy scrap materials like old newspapers, used boxes, empty cans, bottles, plastic bottles, and other materials that they can sell.
The business is too dirty for other people but Lourinda and her husband do not care about it because this is where they get their source of living.
