Corazones De Oro Group's story

The communal bank "Corazones de Oro" will begin its seventh cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Copacabana regional office. The group is composed of 8 members and run by a board of directors, of which Felisa is the president.

The loan they take out will benefit small businesses. Felisa is one member, who currently has a business selling cheese. She divulges that she learned the business on her own initiative several years ago.

The loan Felisa is taking out will be used to augment her capital for the purchase of cattle at wholesale. She will purchase from the wholesalers in the city of La Paz. Later they will serve as the means of production and she will be able to sell milk and cheese. This manner of working will enable her to generate resources for the economic support of her family. She is married and has four children.
