Warisaya Group's story

The communal bank "Warisaya" will begin its first cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the regional office Copacabana. The group is composed of 8 members and is managed by a board of directors, of which Beatriz is the president.

The loan they are taking out will benefit micro businesses. Beatriz is one member of the group. Currently she has a neighborhood store. She divulges that she learned the business on her own initiative several years ago.

The loan that Beatriz is taking out will increase her capital for the purchase of canned goods in wholesale which she will buy from the wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz and then resell in her sales space. This manner of working allows her to generate resources for the economic support of her family. She is married and has two children.
