A loan of $6,725 helps a member to buy meat wholesale.

Zona Verde Group's story

The "Zona Verde [Green Zone]" credit group is starting their first loan cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Copacabana Focal Center. It is made up of 10 members and led by an executive board, of which Adela is the president.

The loan that they are taking out will benefit small micoentrepreneurs. Adela is one of these members. Currently, she has a business selling meat. She says that she learned the business several years ago through her own initiative.

The requested loan will be to enlarge her purchasing capital for wholesale meat. She will get it from the wholesale vendors from the city of La Paz. She will then offer it at her sales stall. This form of work allows her to generate resources to economically support her family, as she is a single mother and has 3 children.

In this group: Adela, Lourdes Juana, Rosmery, Eulogio , Herminia, Felipa, Martha Celia, Virginia , Gaby Bicelia, Gladys
