Aromeñitas Group's story

The “Aromeñitas” loan group will begin its first loan cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Centro Focal Copacabana. The group is made up of eight members, and is managed by a board of directors, and Mrs. Marvia is the president.

The loan that they have taken will benefit small enterprises, including Mrs. Marvia's. At present, she has a business selling clothing. She learned this business on her own initiative several years ago.

The loan will be used to increase capital to buy clothing wholesale. She will buy from wholesalers in the city of La Paz; then, she will sell them in her store. This type of work allows her to generate resources to support her family financially; she is in a common-law marriage and has three children.

In this group: Marvia, Ivan , Zaida, Abdon, Vicentina, Francisca, Nicolasa, Sabina
