A loan of $4,625 helps a member to buy canned goods wholesale.

Lagunitas Group's story

Lagunitas Communal Bank will start its first loan cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Collpani Regional Office. It's made up of nine members governed by a board of directors of which Ybone is the president.

The loan they're getting will benefit small business entrepreneurs like Ybone. Currently her business is a neighborhood store. She said she learned this business on her own initiative several years ago.

The loan she's going to get is to increase her capital with a wholesale purchase of canned goods that she'll get from the wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz, then sell in her sales stall.

This job allows her to earn the resources to help her family financially, because she's single and has two children.

In this group: Ybone Karina, Beatriz , Isabel Maria , Rosalia Jacinta , Liz Karen, Isabel, Helen Rocio, Alvaro, Nancy
