Una Kantuta Group's story

The "Una Kantuto" group will begin its first loan cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of the Centro Focal Copacabana. The group is made up of nine members, and is managed by a board of director, where Mrs. Ventura is the president.

The loan will benefit small enterprises, including Mrs. Ventura's. At present, she has a business selling potatoes. She learned this work by her own initiative over several years.

The loan will be used to increase capital to buy seed wholesale. She will buy the seeds from wholesalers in the city of La Paz. This will then allow her to plant and then sell her product. This type of work allows her to generate resources to support her family financially; she is married and has a son.
