Elsa R. is 41 years old rice grower from Trento, Agusan del Sur Mindanao. She owns a 2-hectare farm. She bought the farm out from her small savings when she was single. The farm is truly a gift since; this provides the needs in their family especially food, clothing as well as the education of her 4 children. She has been a client of Community Economic Ventures Inc. for a long time now. Apparently, it’s her 5th loan in CEVI and she wished to stay long because she likes the services and the bonding of the members in their CEVI cluster organization. Another thing that she likes is the insurance coverage services that CEVI offers to all its members. She also likes the way CEVI brings the education to people. Truly it’s more than financial that CEVI implements in its covered communities.
Now, Elsa would like to avail a loan a gain of Php 14,000. She will use the loan to finance the farm necessities. She will buy seeds and pay the laborers and that toils hard in preparing the farm ready for planting..
