A loan of $1,000 helps a member to buy stock feeds.

Savemore Group's story

As smart as she looks, anybody wouldn't believe she wakes up every morning to work in a pig sty. Nyaradzo is a 30-year-old young lady who has decided to put aside all for her family. She is married and her husband helps out with the selling of pigs. They are blessed with four children. They all stay in a village 70 kilometres away from Harare.

Early in the morning, she wakes up to clean up the pig sty and feed the pigs. This has become her daily routine. After she is done, she then starts to prepare her children for school. They have built a pigsty with the capacity of 60 pigs. Her market is comprised of butcheries which operate at their common shopping centre and others who come from different towns in search of cheaper pigs. She used her loan amount to buy stock feed in bulk. This will help with the fattening of the pigs.
