Bienestar Group's story

The Bienestar Group is starting its seventh Pro Mujer loan cycle through the 3 de Mayo social center. The group has eight members and its management board is led by Tania who is the president.

The loan they are applying for will benefit small business owners including Tania. Her current business is selling food (fish) which she says she learned on her own several years ago.

Her loan will be used to increase her capital to buy potato starch, potato and flour, wholesale, from dealers in the city of La Paz. Afterward, she will then make and sell her products at her stall. This type of work allows her to earn an income to support her family economically. She is in a relationship and has a son.
