Kantuta Group's story

The loan group "Kantuta" is starting its first cycle with Pro Mujer, as part of Centro Focal 3 de Mayo. The group has nine members, and has a board of directors, with Milagros serving as president.

The loan will benefit micro-entrepreneurs including Milagros. She currently runs a business selling pastries and cakes; she learned this work on her own several years ago.

This loan will be used to buy flour and sugar from wholesalers in the city of La Paz, for making her products and then selling them. This work allows Milagros to generate income to support her family, since she is single.
