A loan of $7,075 helps a member to buy clothing at wholesale.

Inti Waras Group's story

The communal bank "Inti Waras" is starting its first loan cycle with Pro Mujer as part of the Santiago Regional Office II. The group is made up of eight members and is led by a board of directors, of which Beatriz is president.

The loan that they are taking out will benefit this group of small business owners that Beatriz belongs to. Currently, she has a clothing sales business. She reports that she learned this business through her own initiative several years ago.

She will use the loan that she is taking out to increase her capital and buy clothing at wholesale that she will obtain from the wholesale vendors in the city of La Paz and then sell at her stall. This form of work allows her to generate income to support her family: she is in a common law marriage and has two children.

In this group: Beatriz Hilaria, Vivianan, Jazmani Wilmer, Evelin, Reyna Magda , Mariana Maribel, Virginia , Brigida
