A loan of $1,300 helps a member to restock hardware items.

Muturike Group's story

Constance is a hardworking 44 year old mother of two and her husband is a librarian at a local school in a village 70 Kilometers out of Harare.

What makes Constance special is the way she carries out her businesses. She sells hardware at the local shopping centre where she is renting a full shop. She mostly sells building equipment and has recently introduced a section of groceries and school uniforms. At her home she has a very big and nice garden where she has planted tomatoes, strawberries and onions for sale. To balance the business she has a daily routine that she follows: She wakes up early in the morning and starts to water her garden. This is also the time when she checks on her nurseries. After that she then goes to open the shop and monitor the operations of the day. She employs a boy who helps with the selling especially at times when she travels to restock in Harare capital.

Constance used her loan to increase the stock levels in her hardware shop.
