A loan of $1,200 helps a member to restock clothes and shoes.

Bosses Group's story

Linda has a nicely built flea market at a well-known market place in Stoneridge affectionately known by the locals as the “Little Messina”. The place is positioned centrally and all households from Stoneridge do most of their shopping there.

Linda's stall is always fully stocked with brand new and nice looking clothing and shoes. Every few minutes at least, a client inquires about the price of a certain product in her stall. Her sales on a weekly basis are above average compared to other traders given the current economic situation. Her merchandise includes sneakers, tennis shoes, shirts, belts, trousers, t-shirts, shorts, and flat caps, among other fashionable clothing. She mainly focuses on men’s wear and is determined to see a man looking his best from top to bottom. She is a cross border trader who restocks her products from Botswana, South Africa, and China twice or three or four times per month depending on how well her merchandise is moving.

With her previous loan, Linda had some tangible results to show for her hard work by being able to pay fees for her three school-age children. She used her loan to restock clothes and shoes.
