A loan of $1,000 helps a member to increase her stock and eventually satisfy the demand for groceries.

Dunns Group's story

Beaullah is 27 years old, married with three children. Her husband is self-employed as a taxi driver. She and her fellow group members reside in a suburb of Harare.

Beaullah decided to take steps towards the realization of her dreams 5 years ago. Her motivation for success was to hasten the ability and discipline to acquire small profits on a quick return basis. This guiding business principle led to the opening of a small grocery business by Beaullah.

Beaullah is a member of Dunn’s group. Her store is fairly stocked though she is facing challenges in the form of inadequate capital to stock up her shop. Beaullah persuaded her friends to approach Thrive for a loan. The pre-disbursement training the group received from Thrive enhanced the group’s marketing and record-keeping abilities.

Giving up is not an option and all successful people know this. Beaullah is now hoping to increase her stock and eventually satisfy the demand for groceries after getting a loan from Thrive.
