A loan of $900 helps a member to improve her grocery stock levels.

Kilworth Group's story

Having been married for more than 30 years, Elizabeth decided to move to Harare leaving the hectic farm work for her energetic children. However, the life in the city is not easy if you do not have money in your pocket. So in order for her to create some income for herself, she has had to start a tuck-shop, a grocery stall back at her farm in Kilworth, which is about 20 kilometers away from Harare central business district.

Upon receiving a lump some of her husband’s pension, she found a well-built shop structure that had not been put to use for some time and rented the place. She is a married 56-year-old woman who stays in Warren Park Harare. She has five children.

Elizabeth used her portion to improve her grocery stock levels.
