A loan of $1,000 helped purchase dressmaking materials.

Marta Aracely's story

Marta Aracely R. D. A. lives in Atiquizaya, in the department of Ahuachapán. Marta lives with her daughter, to whom she tries to give the best. Marta has owned this business—a small garment factory—for 20 years. She creates her own designs, then produces the outfits in large quantities and sells them throughout Ahuachapán. The loan that Marta is requesting will be used to purchase fabric, thread, and other dressmaking supplies, thus she can produce larger quantities of apparel to sell.
