Rabih is 31 years old and lives in Saida, southern Lebanon, with his wife and two children. He has been working as a successful furniture painter for eleven years. His clients are friends, neighbors and other craftsmen such as carpenters, designers, etc. When he first started his business, he didn’t face difficulties. Rabih set up his business because he learned it when he was young, and he also wanted to increase his family’s income.

Rabih has requested a loan of $1,300 USD from Kiva partner, Al Majmoua, in order to purchase tools for his work. This is his fourth loan cycle and he has always paid on time. In the future, he plans on opening his own shop and purchasing new tools.
