Asoma is twenty years old. She is married and has given birth to two children: one boy and one girl who are both in school. She works very hard to support her husband to provide for the family. She lives with her husband and children in a rented apartment in Oda in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Asoma is a trader, trading in meat. She procures the meat from nearby towns at moderate prices and supplies to food vendors and chop-bar (a place to eat, not necessarily a bar) operators in her community. She has been in business for two years now and wants a loan to buy meat in bulk to expand her business.
