Santusa is 20 years old and the youngest of 3 children. She lives in the home she inherited from her parents after they passed away. From that point, she decided to carry on the family business and assumed responsibility for looking after her siblings even though she is the youngest child.

Santusa makes handmade fabrics used for clothing. She starts working very early in the morning and says she enjoys weaving even if it takes more time to produce handmade products. Santusa has been in business for 2 years and believes the most difficult part of her job is carrying her fabrics as far as Bolivia, where she sells clothes. The journey is both expensive and tiring. In the near future, she hopes her siblings will help with the business so that it can thrive and generate better returns.

Santusa is requesting her second loan from MFP. She feels the responsibility of paying on time because wants to access additional loans in the future. The other members of her Communal Bank adore her because she is the youngest. With her loan of 2500 soles, she plans to buy more wool so that she can produce more fabrics and increase the quantity of merchandise she sells in Bolivia.
