Precila is a rice grower and started her farm in 1967. She helps her husband manage a 1-hectare (2.5-acre) farm. Before her first loan in Community Economic Ventures Inc. (CEVI), it was really difficult to sustain her livelihood.
Precila has requested a loan of Php 12,000 from CEVI. She will use the loan to finance her farm like buying fertilizer and seed. She hopes everything will result in prosperity and an abundant harvest for her farm.

On Friday November 8, 2013, Super Typhoon Haiyan made its way through Southeast Asia, causing substantial damage to homes and businesses in areas of the Philippines.
