Jasurbek Toshmatov

Toshmatov Jasurbek is 21 years old. For more than two years he has been engaged in the business of selling coal.

Jasurbek buys coal from Kyrgyzstan and resells it to his customers in the market. As a result of his experience in the field, his numerous clients have a lot of trust and confidence in him and the quality of his product.

Jasurbek enjoys his business very much. However, he does not have adequate funds to support his business, especially with recent price hikes; therefore, he needs the loan to remain in business and to expand it. With this loan, he wants to purchase a new stock of coal to better serve his customers. He believes the loan will enable him to save more and in the nearest future to have his own family.

Tajikistan is known for its rich history, which includes a key post along the Silk Road and the end of Alexander the Great's rule. While the people of Tajikistan are working to improve its agricultural production and manufacturing sector, nearly two-thirds of the population still live in abject poverty.
