Larisa supports herself and her high-school age daughter with her small market business selling a variety of electrical goods and appliances. During the five years she's been in business, she has developed a great mix of products and a solid customer base. Her kiosk is popular with customers because she is able to sell at lower prices than some of the larger electronics stores. Larisa originally got involved in her own business at the encouragement of her sister. Her sister and brother-in-law continue to help her with the business. Eventually they would like to open larger sales location together. Larisa and her daughter live with her mother in her hostel and are able to help with her mother's expenses as well. Larisa is requesting a loan for $1200 to purchase a supply of cell phone accessories. These popular items will sell well and bring in additional income through the summer season.
