Resty Dagsaan is from the village of Tumpagon, Cagayan de Oro City. He is 38 years old. Resty is married and has 3 school-aged children. To make a living, Resty engages in a traditional gold mining activity called Pamiling. He sells mined gold dusts in the local community. Resty has been engaged in his business for over 2 years and earns approximately 4,500 PHP a month.


In 2008, Resty joined HSPFI to gain access to financial services to help improve his living situation and ability to engage in business activities. Resty successfully repaid a previous loan of 10000 PHP from HSPFI that he used to to pay for the fabrication of equipment used in his gold mining.
