Renato Talosig

Renato Talosig is thirty-seven years old and married with two children. They are John Angelo, who is sixteen years old and a college freshman and John Emmanuel, who is eight years old and in the third grade. Renato, his wife Rowena, and their children live in Baranay Canciller along the City Proper of Cauayan. He describes his family as being God-fearing.

Renato previously worked as a manager at ACT machineries located in Cauayan City. He resigned when he felt called to the ministry in his church. He also decided to put up his "John 3:16" shop, selling musical instruments. He also sells Christian accessories, books, book marks, souvenirs and a lot more in order to provide for his family's daily needs and his children's education. Aside from managing the business, Renato also offers music tutorials because he is also a good musician.

His desire to further improve his business and to share his musical skills with others, along with his willingness to disseminate God’s love, causes Renato to seek the support of Kiva lenders. He is asking for a loan of PHP50,000 for the expansion of his business. He already has one branch in Aurora and has ten employees. He hopes that in the coming days, he will be able to expand the business even more.
