Presentacion Jumao-as

Presentacion Jumao-as, age 52, is from the village of Lantay, Pangantucan Bukidnon. Presentacion is widowed and has eight grown children. To make a living, Presentacion runs a sari-sari, which is a general store. The main source of income for the business comes primarily from selling both food and daily-use products in the local community. Presentacion has been engaged in her business for over five years and earns approximately 2,000 PHP a month.

In 2009, Presentacion joined HSPFI to gain access to financial services. Her goal was to help improve her living situation and to increase her ability to engage in business activities. Presentacion has successfully repaid one previous loan of 5,000 PHP from HSPFI. Presentacion is requesting a new loan of 8,000 PHP, which will be used to purchase additional products to sell.

She plans to use the additional revenue generated from the business to supplement her family's income and to pay debts.
