A loan of $1,200 helped a member to buy more clothes.

Mgwirizano Group's story

Flora is 44 years old. She is married with 6 children who rely on her. Her husband works as a security guard.

Flora sells used clothing. She would like to receive a loan to purchase more bundles of used clothing. The proceeds from her larger sales will enable her to pay school fees for her children. She started the business with the aim of educating her children and providing her family with their basic needs.

Flora plans to open a clothing shop in a couple of years. She also hopes to build a good house roofed with iron sheets.

Note: Flora was unable to receive the loan requested as she was absent at disbursement. She appears in the photo.
