Hannah is forty-two years old. She is divorced and has given birth to five children: one son and four daughters. All of her children are still in school. She says she works very hard to be able to provide for the family. She lives with her children in a rented apartment in Dunkwa in the Central region of Ghana.
Hannah is a trader. She runs a provision store in her community. She buys her goods from Kumasi. She has been in business for over twenty years now and wants a loan to buy goods in bulk to expand her business.
