A loan of $500 helped to buy agricultural inputs to plant basic grains.

Jose Alfredo's story

José is 31 years old. He studied until 4th grade. He is married and his partner is a housewife. They have two small children.

José has made a living in agriculture for 20 years. He learned this work thanks to his parents. He also works as a day laborer in a corn cooperative in his community. The plot of land where he farms is 25 minutes from his house on foot. He works from 5:00 am to 3:00 pm.

José is requesting a loan to buy agricultural inputs to plant basic grains. What he wants most is to improve his home and that his children go to school.
