A loan of $400 helped to buy cement posts to enclose the land where he will grow corn and beans, in order to prevent animals from passing through and damaging his crops.

Juan Antonio's story

Juan was only able to attend school through the first grade. He is married, and his wife takes care of the home. His children are now grown and live apart.

Juan is a farmer and has twelve years' experience in his work. He grows corn and beans. He also raises cattle. He learned to work through the teachings of his father.

Juan decided to apply for a loan to buy cement posts to enclose the land where he's going to plant corn and beans. This will prevent animals from crossing through and damaging his crops.

His dreams are to have more cattle for work, and that his earnings improve little by little.
