A loan of $1,000 helps to buy flour, yeast, butter, eggs and sugar to make bread.

Mirian Noemy's story

Mirian never went to school. She's partnered and her partner works in artisanal fishing. They live in a house they take care of which does not belong to them. Her children are in primary school and depend on both of them.

Mirian earns a living making bread. Before, she worked selling seafood. Currently, her partner helps her make bread.

She's been supported with two Kiva loans in the past and has already paid them off. She needs a new loan to buy flour, yeast, butter, eggs and sugar to make bread.

She dreams of having an industrial oven and making her business more efficient.
